REGISTRATION PROCESS
STEP 1
Initial Screening Call
Schedule a 15-minute screening call to ensure Dolomites For Youth is a good fit for your teen. Calls can be scheduled via Calendly or by contacting us directly.
This step is mandatory for all new participants and must be completed before enrollment.
STEP 2
Online Application
Create an account and complete the online application for your teen. During this process, provide a deposit payment method and two non-family references who can speak to your teen’s readiness for this adventure.
STEP 3
Application Review
After the screening call and application submission, the DFY team will review your teen’s application. If the program is deemed a good fit, we will process the deposit and officially enroll your teen in their Dolomites adventure.
STEP 4
Forms & Final Payment
All required forms must be completed by April 1st. Payments are divided as follows:
50% of the remaining balance is due February 1st, with the final payment due April 1st. Access all forms and payment details through your online account.

Participation in Dolomites For Youth requires positivity, teamwork, and a willingness to compromise during group travel and shared experiences.
First Aid, Health Care & Insurance
Hikers arrive at Dolomites For Youth healthy, and our goal is to ensure they stay that way throughout the adventure.
2025 GENERAL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
Dolomites For Youth openings are available on a first-come, first-served basis until all spots are filled. Early registration is highly recommended, as each session is limited to fewer than 12 participants.

Steps to Prepare for Dolomites For Youth
1. Read the welcome letter from the DFY team.
2. Review the travel details and book flights to/from Venice.
3. Download the packing list and start gathering your gear.
4. Break in your hiking boots and build your fitness for hiking.
5. Do some practice hikes spending a weekend away from home and discuss expectations with your parents.
6. Submit your final payment and forms, including a health form signed by a licensed medical professional.
7. Watch for pre-trip emails with outfitter waivers and final details in late May.
8. Prepare your questions for the pre-trip call with DFY staff in June.
9. Pack your gear following the packing list closely.
10. Notify DFY of any updates to health, contact, or travel information.
11.Review the website and your trip itinerary one last time.
12. Arrive at the meeting point ready for an unforgettable adventure!
